Planning permission has now been granted for Phase 5 of Barking Riverside by the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham. On land formerly occupied by Barking Power Station, the 1-hectare plot 208A is one of seven plots being brought forward by various developers within the Stage Two North of the wider Barking Riverside Development.

How was MIPIM 2022, after missing the last two years with Covid restrictions?
Well, there was a much more relaxed atmosphere due to the delegate attendance being 30% down on 2019. Whilst the private sector was still well represented albeit with less people, there was a sparce Local Government attendance (with impending Local Elections and ESG considerations).

Green light for TfL and Barratt JV Wembley scheme after Minister approves called-in scheme. The long-anticipated decision comes after the Brook Avenue scheme was called-in by the former Housing Secretary Jenrick after being approved by Brent Council in 2020. The scheme was called-in to consider the scheme against the current NPPF and the extent of which the proposed development is consistent with the development plan for the area.

A great milestone has been reached with the submission of detailed planning for the first phase of the Homes England’s flagship Northern Arc development. The 3,500- dwelling initiative in Burgess Hill steps up a gear with Bellway Homes – to bring forward the first 250 homes alongside surrounding green infrastructure designed by Macfarlane + Assocs.
Fast approaching completion is the development of a 142-unit residential scheme in a prime location in West Ealing for Telereal Trillium. As high-density apartment blocks in an urban setting, our role in creating well-designed amenity spaces for residents has been integral to the success of this project.
Following the successful delivery of the first phase of the Limebrook Way masterplan vision with Crest Nicholson, the second phase of the development for an additional 210 new homes has recently secured a resolution to grant planning permission at committee.
Excellent progress continues to be made in the delivery of a 550-home residential scheme on a 3.4-hectare old gasworks site owned by Scottish Gas Networks in Bexley with Bellway London Partnerships and Stockwool Architects.
