It’s the dawn of a new era for the TV and film industry with the state-of-the-art production facilities being unveiled across a new site in Bedfordshire. The masterplan features over 1.5 million sq ft of sound stages, production buildings, workshops and backlot areas in a size and format unprecedented in the UK with the operations by Home of Production (HOP).

The plans for the industry-transforming facilities, are bringing an exciting new use to the former brick quarry site as well as boosting the local economy with thousands of jobs and skilled opportunities. Offices, food and beverage facilities as well as a crèche and a creative hub will line the central canal and boulevard.

Macfarlane + Associates have created an outstanding landscape masterplan in association with an excellent team of Scott Brownrigg, Litchfields, SWECO and LC Ecological to take the scheme to planning. With a major focus on biodiversity, the landscape design helps to create a wonderfully lush setting for the TV and film studios operations with an eye-catching central green spine at its heart.
