LIMEBROOK PARK WEST PHASE II – GETS PLANNING

Following the successful delivery of the first phase of the Limebrook Way masterplan vision with Crest Nicholson, the second phase of the development for an additional 210 new homes has recently secured a resolution to grant planning permission at committee.

The masterplan for Limebrook Park West seeks to deliver a ‘New Garden Suburb’ which complements the existing adjacent communities and is therefore seamlessly integrated within the local context. The development will deliver up to 1,000 dwellings, a 3.4ha employment area, local shops, cafés, playing fields and leisure facilities as well as a primary school and childcare provision.
Making the Maldon District an attractive place to live and work requires the creation of a series of general amenity areas, plenty of formal open space including allotments, new pedestrian and cyclist routes to enhance connectivity in addition to ecological habitat areas to improve environmental sustainability. This approach to open green space and landscape design aims to be exemplary of successful place making.
