Emblematic of the ongoing transformation of Digbeth is Phoenix Yards – a £100 million regeneration of a 2.8-acre former industrial site in central Birmingham. As a landmark project within the wider area, it will contribute a new, future-focused destination that strengthens the district’s identity as a key gateway into Digbeth’s creative quarter, aligning with the area’s growing reputation as a centre for innovation and contemporary culture. In partnership with Hartwell PLC and AHMM, and working closely with Ridge, Cundall, Hoare Lea and Newmark UK, the scheme brings forward a dynamic mixed-use neighbourhood that includes around 260,000sqft of media and educational space, new commercial and retail units, and 240 homes.
