Alton Green Village Square, Roehampton

Alton Green is a masterplan for a major urban regeneration that promises to deliver over 1000 new homes through the reconfiguration of the Alton Estate, positively impacting the wider Roehampton area. Driven by the JV between Redrow Homes and Wandsworth Council, we led the design of the centrepiece, the Roehampton village square.

As the main community hub, the square provides a programmable external space that can be used for events, markets and general amenity in front of the new library. Distinct dwelling spaces cater for children’s play and encourage community cohesion.
