Glen Macfarlane

Glen is driven to create great places for people as much today as in his university days. Throughout this time Glen has become increasingly focused on his passion for urban regeneration and sustainable landscape design, two elements which have come to define his career and practice.

Having grown a loyal client base with an acclaimed portfolio of placemaking and urban design schemes, he combines an ability to listen and respond directly to client’s needs with an innate design flair.

He draws on a breadth of experience from an especially diverse portfolio covering public and private sector commissions extending to major placemaking, complex inner urban regeneration and the planning of green infrastructure.

He now sits on the High Street Task Force Expert Panel and is a Design Review Panel member advising on design quality in a number of London Boroughs including Wandsworth, Richmond, Sutton and Design South East. He is also an external Examiner for Leeds Beckett University and a judge for Landscape Institute awards.

Recently invited to Fellowship of the Landscape Institute, Glen strives to set a standard for his employees through his dedication to the practice and the industry, actively promoting the landscape profession at international and national industry events and conferences.
