Transport for London and Barratt London have teamed up to deliver the eye-catching Wembley Park – Brook Avenue development, a strategic scheme in the Wembley Growth Area, which could deliver 11,500 new homes by 2026.

The public realm stitches the scheme into its setting and the wider community. The aim of the proposed landscape at street level is to create an animated and safe public realm that accommodates comfortable pedestrian movement with generous planting zones, incidental play opportunities, and a 12+ year old play area. The individual plot landscape is animated with lush podium terraces and a roof garden on the 7th floor for residents to use. The five communal landscape areas offer an opportunity to provide different typologies within each podium with varied character zones and distinct activities.

Following successful Mayoral Design Review, Brent Design Review Panels and two public exhibitions of the design narrative earlier this year, the scheme has now been successfully submitted to London Borough of Brent for planning.
