LOWLINE COMMONS – A NEW GREEN VISION FOR RAILWAY VIADUCTS

After winning the RIBA international competition for the extraordinary ‘Low Line’ regeneration initiative in Southwark, we have been working hard to complete the Stage 1 commission with our amazing team partners, PDP London, Studio 4215 and Greengage.

The ‘LowLine’ initiative is planned to be a major regeneration catalyst in Southwark connecting three Business Improvement Districts – Better Bankside, Team London Bridge and Blue Bermondsey.

We have been working with Network Rail, Southwark Council, the Arch Company, and Borough Market with funding from the Greater London Authority’s Good Growth Fund, a regeneration programme supporting growth and community development in London.

Despite the ‘lockdown’, strategic analysis and realisation of initial conceptual studies promoting an ecological vision for the ‘LowLine Commons’ putting the local community, as well as nature, at the heart of the project, are now complete.
