LIGHTS, CAMERA, REGENERATION

A major milestone has been reached at Fairbanks Studios, as the redevelopment of the former BBC Elstree Centre, led by BNP Paribas Asset Management Alts and Oxygen Studios, moves from planning into construction.

Working collaboratively with UMC Architects, we delivered the landscape architecture and public realm design for the scheme, shaping a world-class film and television production campus where people and nature come together.

Creating a welcoming new entrance and an eye-catching setting for the brand new studios was a key driver for the masterplan delivered through our public realm strategy and landscape design. Our proposals enhance biodiversity, promote sustainable drainage and deliver a welcoming environment for staff, visitors and the wider community.

This is landscape-led regeneration that celebrates Elstree’s cinematic legacy while creating a sustainable destination for the next generation of film and television production.
