IWADE, KENT: GROUNDED IN COMMUNITY

Plans have been submitted to Swale Borough Council to deliver a series of significant enhancements to the approved Willowbrook Country Park in Iwade, Sittingbourne – and we are proud to have played a central role in shaping this ambitious landscape vision in collaboration with Bellway Homes (Kent).

Spanning an impressive 43.5 hectares, Willowbrook Country Park is set to become one of the most thoughtfully designed community green spaces in the South East of England — a place where nature, wellbeing, and community life intersect in a way that feels genuinely meaningful.

The enhanced scheme introduces community orchards, wetland habitats, natural play areas, a viewing mound, informal recreation pitches, and a network of accessible trails — all designed to sit sensitively within their rural surroundings.

At the heart of the vision is a simple belief we hold across everything we do: that great landscapes start with people. Willowbrook has been conceived as a genuine destination for the whole community — a place for adventure, learning, quiet reflection, and connection with nature, for all ages and all seasons.
