Harlow Science Park is a 35-hectare joint venture project between Wrenbridge and Vinci Developments UK, in partnership with Harlow Enterprise Zone and Harlow Council. Set within a globally recognised region of scientific excellence, the new Med-Tech Campus brings together research, innovation and manufacturing.

M+A worked closely with Scott Brownrigg to design the site masterplan and collaborated with a diverse design team to refine site infrastructure proposals. The development marks a landmark contemporary scheme to expand Harlow Town centre and generate new employment opportunities by welcoming twenty-six plots, including a hotel; gym; creche and cafes. The carefully considered campus-style environment is designed for people to meet and collaborate.

The initial stage of site-wide public realm infrastructure and tree planting have been completed, but the highlight earlier this year was the unveiling of the bespoke sculpture by Nick Hornby. Inspired by Michelangelo’s David, this forms the 100th piece in Harlow’s sculpture trail. It’s unveiling also marks the practical completion of the first phase of plot construction featuring Nexus, a new Grade A office space alongside Arise, Angular Ruskin University’s new innovation centre for medical and advanced engineering. Works on subsequent plots are concurrently underway.
