Having taken the design from initial concept stages through to planning approval and now delivery, M+A have worked alongside Barratt London to design and oversee the successful delivery of extensive public realm and landscape works. The project has achieved Gateway 2 approval through the developing design that is fully compliant with Building Regulations and achieves ambitious targets for amenity space, play, public art, urban greening, and biodiversity net gain (BNG) — with meaningful public realm design that reflects the site’s heritage as a former SGN gasholder site.

As the first development within a wider masterplan, Lightmakers sets a high‑quality design benchmark for future phases and demonstrates our commitment to creating places for people and nature.
