Oxford City Council has approved plans to transform the underutilised Eastpoint Business Park into a prominent life science campus, designed by Scott Brownrigg for Railpen. This redevelopment will introduce 200,000 sq ft of essential life science space to the Oxford-Cambridge Arc, serving as a hub for STEM engagement and educational outreach.

The project will feature three state-of-the-art buildings, a community pavilion, and an ecologically-focused landscape that emphasises safe pedestrian movement and vibrant ground floor activity. A ‘Learning Lab’, with advanced facilities alongside outdoor classrooms and ecological trails offer immersive STEM learning, while a café, social hub, and green space form a lively community hub.

Our landscape design emphasizes green infrastructure to support both environmental and human health. It includes rain gardens and tree planting to enhance water management and biodiversity. The project, anchored in sustainability and well-being, aims to achieve top-tier certifications, including BREEAM ‘Outstanding,’ Wired, WELL and Smart Platinum, and Cycle Score Platinum.
