The Ebbsfleet Development Corporation has approved plans by BPTW and Bellway to develop 56 homes in Parcel 3 of the Alkerden neighbourhood. As part of the broader Whitecliffe development, which will eventually deliver up to 6250 homes within a distinctive landscape of cliffs, lakes, and green public spaces, Alkerden Parcel 3 is set to become a model for well-integrated, characterful living in Ebbsfleet Garden City.

M+A has been entrusted with the landscape design, focusing on the internal laneway and the critical interface with the Fastrack bus route. Our design for the mews features high-quality materials and a layout that ensures a safe and welcoming environment for residents and pedestrians. The tree-lined laneway, enhanced with raised planters, promotes a community-oriented atmosphere, while informal seating areas add to the street’s accessibility and appeal.

This development is committed to enhancing local biodiversity through thoughtfully landscaped public and private spaces, incorporating additional tree and shrub planting. Sustainable transport is also a priority of this project, with every home offering direct access to the Fastrack route and equipped with cycle storage.
