CELEBRATING ‘BENEFIT FOR ALL’ 

As a recently certified organisation, this March marked our first B Corp month – a time to celebrate the growing community of businesses dedicated to creating a positive impact on people and the planet. In the face of today’s pressing challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, mass displacement, and the erosion of truth and democracy, collectively known as a “polycrisis“, it has never been more important to recognise the critical role of businesses that are committed to meaningful change.

Attending events hosted by fellow B Corporations in London as part of B Corp month, was truly encouraging. Seeing how the network of businesses committed to change continues to grow, and how so many are not just talking about impact, but actively driving it. What started in 2015 with 64 founding B Corps in the UK has expanded to over 2400 companies today, representing 153,000 people.

This rapid growth is a testament to the power of business to create meaningful, lasting change. Being part of the B Corp movement is about so much more than earning a badge or certification; it’s about using business as a tool for positive impact, proving that profit and purpose can, and should, go hand in hand.
