A BCO AWARD CONTENDER

Aztec 1000, a major refurbishment of an existing office building on the outer edge of Bristol, has been shortlisted for the prestigious BCO (British Council for Offices) Awards in the Refurbished/Recycled Workplace category for the South. Our role was to design and deliver the external landscape , ensuring that the building’s exterior harmonised with its’ newly refurbished interior.

The entrance is accented by linear feature paving that complements the revitalised façade entrance. Soft planting flanks both sides of the entryway and is strategically placed around the parking areas, effectively softening the hard paving. Additionally, users will have access to a south-facing decked area that offers calming views of the nearby lake, providing an ideal spot for relaxation or informal meetings in the sunny aspect.

The project, developed in collaboration with CEG and Scott Brownrigg Architects, is gaining increasing recognition, and we eagerly anticipate the announcement of the regional winners in May, after the BCO judges visit later this year.
