We have secured resolution to grant planning with Elysian Residences for a new exciting development at 67 Alma Road in Windsor. The development will offer a diverse mix of homes including 118 Senior Living apartments and 197 Build-to-Rent (BTR) units, bringing together a broad range of lifestyles and life stages in the local community.

Transforming a long-neglected brownfield site vacant since 2008, proposals for mixed-use development represents a significant step forward, creating a vibrant, intergenerational community that caters to a diverse mix of users. Designed by ACA Studios, the Senior Living homes are crafted to support an active and fulfilling lifestyle, with on-site amenities like fitness classes, physical therapy, and a welcoming public restaurant creating a vibrant environment for older residents to thrive.

The development emphasises the integration of different age groups, fostering a sense of community and connection among residents.

M+A collaborated with ACA Studios on the layout, focusing on maximising green space and preserving the existing mature trees and hedgerows. A new 2,525 sq. m. linear park will link the development to Vansittart Recreation Ground, enhancing the area with recreation spaces, outdoor dining, play areas, and residential gardens. The proposals include extensive new tree planting, vibrant rain gardens, wildflower meadows, generous areas of new landscaped areas and expansive green roofs—together creating a rich tapestry of green infrastructure that champions sustainability and enhances ecological diversity across the site.
